If he couldn’t afford corrective counseling then a prescription for Wellbutrin would solve one problem but would add another. Taking Wellbutrin stops all ejaculations but not the good feelings. He could last forever.
And under a Dr.s supervision he could go off that medication long enough to have some fun himself.

Can someone out there confirm that most antidepressants are dispensed as pills, which are hard to grind to soluble dust?
I grant that the effect is real, as many women on Lexapro have found, but its administration has to be subtle.

There is a drug called flibanserin that is basically the female viagra. However, it is just now being resubmitted for approval by the FDA because it interfered with the ability to drive, among other things. The key difference between flibanserin and viagra is that flibanserin works on the central nervous system rather than the autonomic nervous system. It is actually an antidepressant that targets a wide range of disruped neural pathways which contribute to hypoactive sexual desire in women.
Beyond that, though, Wellbutrin can work for women's libido as well because it affects dopamine levels in such a way that contributes to the proper activation of the reward circuitry of the brain. This theoretically facilitates the behavioral aspects which reinforce the desire to engage in sexual activity over time. One other thing to consider is utilizing the effects of oxytocin release to stir up the desire for sexual intimacy. Try engaging your partner in a long embrace, upwards of 20 seconds, just holding each other close. By the end of that 20 seconds, you might be surprised by how elevated your heart rate and breathing gets and you may even feel butterflies in your stomach. Another way is to just sit together in silence for 10 minutes in the dark while holding hands. It is almost like mutual meditation, where you become hypersensitive to your partner's contact with your skin, so much so that it blots out your other thoughts and adds a sense of anticipation. The key to all of this is to cultivate mindfulness and learn to be completely in the moment. Meditation, in general can help a lot in this respect, and remember, the enemy of libido is stress. As the title says, I'm not a doctor (or a lawyer, counselor, or any other medical type), but I am an engineer. I hadn't noticed the comparision to Ohios' story, but it is valid. I'll buy the BiPolar excuse before the depression. I have inlaws, outlaws, and regular relatives that are bipolar, and each in their own way are very scary. The biggest problem with the bipolar excuse, is that it just doesn't manifest in six months. The infidelity was, I assume (risking all for that word) was a one-time occurence. She knew what she was doing but couldn't (wouldn't) help herself. Very strange circumstances, but I guess the onset of menopause could start triggering symptoms. God knows menopause triggers enough on its own. Things just didn't seem to fit together on the cheating.
Next thing that bothered me, Ju never seemed to profess any desire to have a restored muscle car, that was his dream. Why would he plan to give it to her? Especially as a surprise. It would make more sense to tell her upfront that he wanted to give her a part of his dream, and let her share in the restoration. Then she'd appreciate the car.
Lastly an observation, if I were to see my S.O. performing in a car next to me, I'd loose it too. I don't know if I'd be racing the troopers, but I'd sure be leaving in a hurry! Strange that the wife gets a 'walk' on her infidelity due to mental health issues. The husband gets nailed for loosing it during what could be considered a serious mental health incident. Seems like the constant inequities in civil vs criminal offenses will never change.
