Obviously it’s important to be prescribed the correct medication and of course take the manufacturer brand that works better for you of course. however with Adderall it does seem like every month it’s almost feeling like we’re on a different type of medication sometimes it’s real strong sometimes you feel like you’re not taking anything at all. One of the things that Adderall does is it gets absorbed by your stomach acid. So about 20 minutes before you take your Adderall take a couple of Tums if the pill doesn’t seem to be strong enough for you. (Do not take more than 10 Tums a day, by the way) The Tums Will decrease/absorb some of your stomach acid and will make your stomach more of a base. Acid is more likely to eat away at stuff that goes into your stomach while if your stomach is primarily base and not acid then about 25% more of your Adderall you’ll actually feel affect on that you usually don’t feel it on. Expand... Example if you take your Adderall with an acid like stomach you will feel affects on about 75% of that pill and the other 25% of that pill will go to waste because it will be eaten by your stomach acid. So if you take Tums about 20 minutes before your Adderall it will decrease your stomach acid and make your stomach primarily a base so that it will not eat away at the Adderall so the pill will actually feel stronger for you if you need it to and then you can feel the effects of
